Slow Morning - c. Marty Attridge 2015, Emiliam Music Publishing (ASCAP)

It's a slow morning, the dog is yawning.

The sun's taking its time to rise.

I've got no where to be, no one to meet,

And that just suits me fine.

It's a slow morning, blue sky forming.

The river just drifts on by.

I'm sitting on the porch, let another bear the torch.

That just suits me fine.

You've got to thank the powers that be,

For days like these, so few and far between.

Let the world run crazy, you can call me lazy.

That's all right by me.

The distant afternoon might come too soon,

With other plans for me.

So, let the world run crazy, you can call me lazy.

That's all right by me.

It's a slow morning, the dog's still yawning,

And I ain't moved but to breathe.

Let the world run crazy, you can call me lazy.

That's all right by me.
